Welcome to the EOI. My name is Valentina Martín. I will be your teacher this course.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
· Our textbook for this year is: Face2face Pre-intermediate. English for Spanish speakers. Cambridge. You will also need to buy the workbook mainly for writing tasks and self-study.
· A notebook or folder is also necessary in your language class.
REFERENCE BOOKS
Grammar books:
· English Grammar in Use with Key. Raymond Murphy. C.U.P
· English Grammar with Exercises. Escuelas Oficiales de Idiomas. Longman
Dictionaries:
· A bilingual dictionary (Oxford, Collins or Larousse). Try to get the latest edition.
READERS:
You will have to read at least ONE BOOK of about 1,200 words. The class library is at your disposal to take out books. Hand in worksheet number ONE when you read the book.
It is also important to sign in the lending library list whenever you take out or return a book.
